About the Event
In this class we’ll be generating a slew of poems together. Our focus will begin with creating poems that stir the senses. With prompts, we’ll use all our senses throughout the class to discover the words underneath. We will also carve out time to revise our work using some of the most exciting tools for revision by beloved poets Mary Oliver, Maya Angelou and exciting voices Amanda Gorman and Andrea Gibson. We’ll also hear advice from Walter Mosley for those looking to bridge their work between prose and poetry.
