Tour Balboa Park’s iconic Botanical Building—completely restored to its original 1915 appearance, while upgraded for today’s accessibility and sustainability needs. Learn about its magnificent collection of over 1,000 plants, representing more than 180 species from subtropical and tropical environments around the world.
Forever Balboa Park offers thematic tours that focus on the park’s unique biodiversity and highlight its horticultural wonders on the first Saturday of each month. Led by park docents and horticultural experts, the 60-minute tours leave from the Visitors Center at 10 a.m. unless otherwise indicated. Suggested donation: $5.
