About the Event

Guitar virtuoso, composer, and longtime Frank Zappa collaborator Mike Keneally brings his acclaimed band Beer For Dolphins to the Bornemann Theatre for the very first time. Widely regarded as one of progressive music’s most inventive and fearless artists, Keneally has built a legendary career spanning collaborations with Frank Zappa, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, and countless others, blending jaw-dropping musicianship with adventurous songwriting and genre-defying creativity.

Backed by Beer For Dolphins, Keneally delivers an exhilarating live experience that moves effortlessly between progressive rock, fusion, experimental music, and melodic brilliance. Whether you're a longtime fan or discovering his music for the first time, this is a rare opportunity to witness one of modern music’s true innovators in an intimate setting.

Opening the evening is acclaimed guitarist and composer Travis Larson. With eight studio albums and three concert DVDs to his name, Larson has established himself as one of instrumental music’s premier performers. Having collaborated with artists including Steve Lukather, Victor Wooten, Dave LaRue, and Vinx, and shared stages with Zappa Band, Steve Morse, UFO, and The Aristocrats, Larson’s electrifying blend of prog-rock and fusion delivers high-energy performances that leave audiences spellbound.

Don’t miss this unforgettable night of boundary-pushing musicianship as two celebrated artists bring virtuosic performances and sonic exploration to the Bornemann stage.
