Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream and Accessity Speed Coaching
About the Event
Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream (BTAD) and Accessity will host their Speed Coaching event on Thursday, Oct. 22, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Marina Village Conference Center in San Diego. The free event will bring together food, beverage and craft brewing small business owners with Samuel Adams team members and local business experts.
The event will begin with a networking reception at 5:30 p.m. in the Baja Room (1936 Quivira Way, San Diego, CA 92109), where entrepreneurs can connect with other small business owners and select the coaching sessions most relevant to their needs. Topics will include marketing and e-commerce, packaging, sales and distribution, business financing, legal advice and more.
Following the networking reception, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in multiple 30-minute coaching sessions with Samuel Adams employees and local business experts. Entrepreneurs are encouraged to bring specific questions, challenges or materials they would like feedback on, including packaging, marketing materials and business ideas.
Since 2013, Accessity and Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream have partnered to provide resources, education and funding opportunities to food and beverage entrepreneurs across Southern California. Over the course of the partnership, the organizations have hosted numerous events, including previous Speed Coaching events in San Diego, connecting hundreds of small business owners with industry experts for one-on-one guidance.
“Small business owners often have questions that require specialized knowledge and experience,” said Jennifer Glanville Love, Brewer and Director of Partnerships at Boston Beer Company. “We’re so excited to bring Speed Coaching back to San Diego and once again connect local entrepreneurs with professionals who can help them move their businesses forward. Through this event, we hope to give small business owners the opportunity to get direct, practical feedback, build confidence, and walk away with ideas they can put into action.”
Registration for Speed Coaching is free, though space is limited. Light fare and beverages will be served. Attendees must be 21 or older. Small business owners interested in attending can sign up through the official event page here.
