TrueCare Monster Mash Wellness Bash
About the Event
TrueCare will host the Monster Mash Wellness Bash, a free, family-friendly Halloween health fair that connects community members with local health, safety and wellness resources. The event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at the John Landes Community Center in Oceanside.
Guests are encouraged to come dressed in a costume and enjoy a fun-filled evening featuring snacks, a DJ, a kids’ costume contest, interactive activities and free giveaways. Throughout the event, TrueCare teams and community partners will help educate and connect attendees with resources that support their safety and well-being.
Team members from TrueCare Pediatrics, Dental, Women’s Health, Behavioral Health and WIC services will be on site providing attendees with medical and dental screenings, blood pressure checks, flu shots and more. Attendees can also connect with Enrollment Services specialists, who can help answer questions about Medi-Cal eligibility, applications and renewals.
The event is sponsored by Blue Shield of California Promise Health Plan and held in partnership with the city of Oceanside, Oceanside Unified School District and Oceanside Police Department.
With a variety of resources and services available in one convenient location, the Monster Mash Wellness Bash offers community members a chance to learn more about their health, get questions answered and discover ways to support their well-being, all while enjoying a fun and welcoming atmosphere for the whole family.
