About the Event
Ages 5-12. Students in this course will develop the skills and confidence to draw portraits from observation. Over the course of the class, young artists will learn how to draw accurate proportions of the face, understanding the relationships between features to capture a true likeness of their subjects. As they refine their technical abilities, students will also develop their own artistic eye and focus on bringing their subjects to life on the page. The class wraps up with finished portrait pieces that showcase each student's remarkable growth and individual style.
