About the Event
Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Susie Ibarra joins acclaimed percussionist and UC San Diego professor Steven Schick for "CHAN: Sonnets and Devotions in the Wilderness," a striking contemporary work that blends music, poetry, voice, and sound. With an ensemble of instrumentalists and vocalists, they transform the rhythms of the natural world into a richly layered live experience.
